Roots, blocks or cart ruts – nearly nothing that can stop a 29'er. A few more inch make the difference and help to cross barricades easily, stabilize the bike, increase traction and brake performance and allow an increased performance compared to the ordinary F26 carbon.

SRAM X.0 and X.9 shifting components underline the standard of this bike and guarantee highest precision and durability. The stiff carbon crankset SRAM S2210 wasted in connection with the BB30 bearing not a single watt.
Hydraulic Avid Elixir 9 Carbon disc brakes enable a powerful and save brake performance under all conditions. A very light but still rock solid wheelset forgive also a harder line. The Stan’s No Tubes™ ZTR ARCH rim comes with BST Technology and is therefore well prepared for tubeless setup.

The build Cannondale Save Post seatpost gives extra comfort. The carbon fibers are oval in the middle and are able to flex well-directed.

Well thought technologies, great components and one of the lightest and stiffest forks available unified in one 29'er race hardtail. The lightweight frameset is a mark all other competitors have to beat. Fantastic stiffness to weight values underline the know how of cannondale and let it be a perfect choice for hardest competitions.
Cannondale reached that targed by implementing several innovative technologies and materials in their concept. F29 Carbon achieves unheard of levels of light weight and efficiency by System Integration design. Cannondale craft components to work together, like the new Lefty Hybrid fork and the Stem/Steerer, or the SRAM Carbon crankset with the BB30 system.
Lighter and stiffer than aluminum, more shockproof than steel. Ballistec carbon can shake off rock strikes and impacts that would destroy F29' flimsy competition. Tube2Tube Construction is a time intensive and expensive construction procedure which is used by Cannondale to create every tube individually and to arange the unidirectional fibers exactly. This results in increased stiffness and further reduced weight. The Speed Save System with its optimized chain- and seat stay shaping offers lateral rigidity, while providing vertical compliance for bump absorption and comfort with no loss in power transfer.

Thanks to the OPI(One Piece Integration) and construction of the upside-down double bridge design the Lefty Hybrid XLR is a super light and super stiff suspension unit. It offers 90mm air suspension, a hydraulic lockout (SRAM´s X-Lock) and adjustable rebound damping.
For 2013, the Lefty comes with a new integrated plain bearing with upstream sealing, making the former folding bellows superfluous.
Hence the name Lefty Hybrid. A combination of superior needle bearing technology and the new plain bearings.
Better sealing: The service intervals are more than twice as long as the competition.
