The Philips LED Bike Light with 80 Lux is the first LED bike light with German StVZO approval which is eight times brighter as required by law. Objects at distances up to 80 meters can still be clearly recognized also the biker on the road is clearly visible. Philips LED Bike Light is equipped with two high power LEDs based on the Philips Luxeon technology - the same technology is also used in the LED headlamps by leading german automotive manufacturers. Luxeon Rebel LEDs create a high quality white light.
Alternatively, the LED light can be used in high-power mode with 80 Lux or in the City-Eco-mode with 20 Lux. It can be easily mounted to any handlebar and are charged via a USB cable with the included power adapter or by a computer. Also included in delivery are four high-performance NiMH Philips rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 2450mAh. Burn time is therefore two to eight hours, depending on the mode in which the front light is running.
Other features are the battery level and charging indicator and a tool free mounting. The front light is horizontally and vertically adjustable.
