For the ASSOS x EF Pro Cycling Capsule 2026, a collection was designed that explores these themes of direct encounters, space, and time to celebrate Italy’s most significant race. The jersey is based on the RS Jersey S11, designed specifically for racing—the most current and compelling competition gear in the Assos collection. It is lighter, has improved aerodynamics, and is more stabilizing than the previous RS jersey, yet just as breathable.
Features of the Assos EQUIPE RS S11 EF - CLOSE ENCOUNTER Men’s short sleeve jersey
- The open 3D-knit miniCheck Tex offers high breathability, high elasticity, SPF 25, and the characteristic ASSOS jersey texture on the front. The bags are anchored by a Stabilizer V11 back panel, which provides intense cooling breathability and is so lightweight (SPF 15) that it is recommended to use sunscreen underneath. It also increases stability and prevents sagging and movement when the bags are full. The sleeves are made from the new 550CX fabric in jersey weave, which offers SPF 35 protection and features a muscle-hugging bi-stretch fit with aerodynamic properties.
- The racingFit is an aerodynamic second-skin silhouette developed based on feedback from the WorldTour and proven there through corresponding results. Compression fabrics, a micro-adjusted shape, and raw-edge hemmes and cuffs with minimal bulk characterize the racingFit as a series designed for ultimate speed.
- The sleeves, hem, and zipper are cut with raw edges and bonded, eliminating any seams and giving the entire jersey clean, elegant lines.
- Flexible fabric panels sewn into the bags form "flaps" that secure and stabilize the content while protecting it from rain and splashes.
- The rear hem is fitted with a lightweight, ultra-breathable textile tape featuring a micro-dot silicone finish. This stabilizes the back of the jersey and ensures a secure fit even in wet conditions.
