The New SCOTT E-Spark 710 applies proven electric assist technology to a capable offroad package. ePowered by the Bosch Performance drive system, and in unison with Scotts patented TwinLoc technology, allowing for three travel settings on the FOX 32 CTD fork and Custon Nude 2 shock, the E-Spark 710 brings another element to the mountains. Trails will never look the same.
The SCOTT Spark boasts a super light hydroformed alloy frame
and 650B wheels. A race-biased geometry and the big wheels brings incredible propulsion and traction and that with full suitability for crude downhills. Equipped with a custom FOX Nude shock, and their Patented TwinLoc technology, in combination with Traction Control, allowing for three travel/geometry settings to always optimize your ride.
The mid-mounted Bosch Performance
engine provides a optimal weight, maximum efficiency and an industry-leading torque. Sensors measure 200x per second the request and the speed to ensure that in all Situations the correct power is available. The total weight of the entire system is just 6.5 kg. Pulling and power delivery are instantly and extremely harmonious. Overall, the drive-system offers maximum torque. According to the EPAC standard the motor drive support up to 25 km/h. After reaching 25 km/h, or during a braking maneuver, the system immediately interrupts the power - a real plus in safety. The compact, robust, and quiet BOSCH Cruise drive unit is water resistant and maintenance-free.

A tapered head tube
and an oversized press-fit bottom bracket
improve the performance and reduce the weight. Routing the cables internally saves weight by omitting bulky hardware and looks cleaner.
The integrated post mount disc mount on the chain stay saves weight and stress. This mounting position also decreases the load the brakes apply to the swingarm parts.
The rear main bearing now has a larger shaft diameter and thanks to the Shock-Mount-Chip
it is possible to change the bottom bracket height by 7 mm.

damper and FOX 32 Float Evolution
The Nude project is a combination of both, SCOTT's unique patents and technology as well as FOX's suspension performance and experience. The goal was to create a rear shock that gains maximum performance in every riding situation while remaining lightweight.
This new shock is a completely new development with the most advanced air spring and damping system. It features positive air volume micro-adjust with replaceable volume reducers custom tuned for each model and size. Both travel modes have separate damper settings relative to their travel length and effective forces. When collecting data for the new shock project, Scott also calculated rider input data, including forces such as the rider’s gyro-scoping pedal stroke and its' effects on the suspension. They simulated a rider's pedaling and jerky motions made while pedaling or clearing obstacles, and measured their influence on the suspension. Many other designs assume that a rider is static and coasting, or they only include acceleration forces on the suspension and drivetrain. Scott are more concentrated on suspending the movement of the rider instead of negating pedaling forces.
The FOX Nude features a low profile rebound control and mode control pulley for uninterrupted access to water bottles. The lightest FOX Nude shock weight(6.5x1.5") is 260 g.
