Description of Maxxis Minion DHF Front MTB Folding Tire MaxxPro EXO 26x2.5 inch

This version of Minion DHF was designed for the often loose and muddy conditions of aggressive all-mountain terrain. The DHF incorporates ramped knobs for low rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering.

MaxxPro Compound
The MaxxPro compound is great for varying terrains and weather conditions. Maxxis exclusively uses of the Exxpro polymer, created by Exxon. Maxxis engineers have blended Exxpro with their proprietary MaxxPro elastomer, which allows soft tires to have a long tread life without compromising the increase in traction that soft compounds provide.

EXO PROTECTION
An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tires. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.

Foldable tires have light and firm bead core made of aramid fibers and a high-quality 60 tpi carcass. This carcass is 3-layered under the tire tread with a yarn density of 180 tpi.
