The comeback of a cult fork - the Rock Shox Pike.
After a few years the Pike is back and the new Rock Shox Star at Enduro and All Mountain. With the stiff casting and the Charger damping system provides the Pike high quality in the matter of damping and performance. Also the RCT3 guarantees a quick adjust for right riding setup (lock-pedal-open).
With the Pike RCT3 RockShox offers a light and excellently performing fork with stiff 35 mm stanchions to conquer all the challenges in tough All Mountain or Enduro races. The combination of the super-light Dual Position Air spring with the comfortable Charger damper with RCT3, anodized standpipes and the new Casting makes the Pike to a stiff fork with perfect damping. The integrated bolt on cable stop allows for neat routing of the brake hose.
- Dual Position Air
If you want to ride up and walk down, a fork that only does one thing well is great. But you love epic ascents, technical descents, winding single track and everything in between. So you need a fork that tackles it all. Like RockShox's Dual Position Air. It changes your fork's travel up to 30mm without changing its small bump performance. So, with a simple onboard turn and a click you can switch from climbing like a demon to bombing downhill with confidence.
The new "Bladder" design is insanely durable and supports the rebound. It guarantees perfect damping, resists damping change and prevents a foam of oil during extended downhills. The Rapid Recovery provides more control with less energy by fast and quick coming bumps and hits. It allows the shock a faster recovery to use the travel in a smoother and higher spring rate for more control.
RCT3 features "Open" with an adjustable low speed compression, "Pedal" and "Lock".
- Rapid Recovery
Who doesn't want more available wheel travel for successive hits? The Rapid Recovery System allows the shock to recovery faster between consecutive bumps, letting the wheel track the ground with greater precision. This more active suspension system, doesn't pack up and enables the bike to ride in a higher and softer part of the spring rate. Rapid Recovery gives the rider access to more available wheel travel, bump after bump, to achieve a smoother and more controlled ride.
- Sag Gradients
Don't set your sag correctly, and you might as well be hopping onto someone else's bike. But why bust out plastic clips or rulers to keep your suspension fine-tuned? RockShox sag gradients are printed right on the fork's upper tubes making perfect suspension setup easy and accurate.
- Power Bulge
hen you need your forearms to be stronger for more control, you bulk them up in the gym. When you need more durability from your fork, bulk them up with RockShox's Power Bulge. Other companies just increase the stanchion size adding extra weight. Power Bulge simply reinforces the lower leg to allow for an oversized bushing, increasing stiffness and maximizing your ride. Plus, it's called Power Bulge.
- Bottomless Tokens
With the optional tokens (volume-spacer) the air volume of the fork can be reduced so the spring characteristic curve can be influenced. A smoother suspension with higher end-progression is achieved.
- Maxle Ultimate
Basic things like axles are often the easiest to overlook. Put one hand on the Maxle Ultimate, though, and you'll be glad we paid serious attention to the finer details. Because one hand is all it takes to remove or install the Maxle Ultimate. And lever-placement personalization is accomplished completely without the use of tools. Available for both front and rear, Maxle Ultimate is the easiest-to-operate axle system in the world. No tools, no worries, so you can concentrate on the trail ahead.
