The Lyrik is back - completely new chassis with a burlier, stiffer yet still light brace, optimized Solo Air spring with Bottomless Token tunability and user tunable rebound damping via internal shims (same as in the BoXXer).
Of course proven features are included like 35 mm Fast Black upper tubes and an RCT3 Charger Damper with a new SKF cartridge seal to reduce friction and extended service intervals.
Lyrik is built to inspire confidence and blur the lines of capability that limit all other forks in its class.
With revolutionary advancements in bicycle componentry, like SRAM's XX1, X01 and X1 drivetrains, mountain bike designers have been given almost limitless freedom to focus solely on the performance of the bike. Each advancement demands that the entire package works flawlessly. Aggressive trail and enduro riders have been increasingly enjoying the benefits of larger wheels, but many still view 27.5" and 29" wheels as a possible weak link. Which is why SRAM has developed an open standard with Boost compatible components for SRAM drivetrain, hubs and RockShox forks.
- Solo Air
Solo Air is like a Buddhist monk. Its enlightened design lets you add air to your forks through a single Schrader valve, filling both the positive and negative air spring chambers simultaneously. So they're always in perfect equilibrium, like Yin and Yang. Giving you a plush, predictable ride you can set up in seconds, with the lightest weight air spring on the market.
- Charger Damper
The new "Bladder" design is insanely durable and supports the rebound. It guarantees perfect damping, resists damping change and prevents a foam of oil during extended downhills. The Rapid Recovery provides more control with less energy by fast and quick coming bumps and hits. It allows the shock a faster recovery to use the travel in a smoother and higher spring rate for more control.
RCT3 features "Open" with an adjustable low speed compression, "Pedal" and "Lock".
- Rapid Recovery
Who doesn't want more available wheel travel for successive hits? The Rapid Recovery System allows the shock to recover faster between consecutive bumps, letting the wheel track the ground with greater precision. This more active suspension system doesn't pack up and enables the bike to ride in a higher and softer part of the travel. Rapid Recovery gives the rider access to more available wheel travel, bump after bump, to achieve a smoother and more controlled ride.
- Sag Gradients
Don't set your sag correctly, and you might as well be hopping onto someone else's bike. But why bust out plastic clips or rulers to keep your suspension fine-tuned? RockShox sag gradients are printed right on the fork's upper tubes making perfect suspension setup easy and accurate.
- Power Bulge
When you need your forearms to be stronger for more control, you bulk them up in the gym. When you need more durability from your fork, bulk them up with Power Bulge. Other companies just increase the stanchion size adding extra weight. Power Bulge simply reinforces the lower leg to allow for an oversized bushing, increasing stiffness and maximizing your ride. Plus, it's called Power Bulge.
- Bottomless Tokens
With the optional tokens (volume-spacer) the fork's air volume can be reduced to customize the spring rate characteristics. More supple performance with higher ramp up towards the end of the travel is achieved.
