Description of DT Swiss XMC 1200 Spline 29" Carbon - Front Wheel - IS - 15x110mm - Predictive Steering

Picture shows version with 15x100mm thru-axle and Center Lock brake disk mount
The XMC 1200 SPLINE® is for anyone who enjoys high-speed climbing and descending: the hookless design allows super-precise construction of the rim for perfect tubeless compatibility. It massively reduces the chance of punctures, is very low in weight and achieves excellent tire support with the 24 mm rim width. The new SPLINE® hub is the lightest wheel hub ever built by DT Swiss. Together with the DT aerolite® and DT aero comp® spokes and a high-quality wheel construction, it is the ideal complement to the high-end rim, resulting in the ultimate trailbike wheel – the XMC 1200 SPLINE®.
Front wheel with IS disc mount and 15x110mm Predictive Steering through axle system.

With their intricately machined hub shells, cleverly positioned spokes and proven freewheel technology, the DT Swiss SPLINE® wheels are engineered with modern riding needs in mind. It is products like the SPLINE® wheels that allow riders to go faster and further, ultimately making the cycling experience even more fun. The combination of high attention to detail and the legendary DT Swiss reliability featured with the new SPLINE® wheels will make you smile ride after ride, year after year.

Predictive Steering
Predictive Steering is a thru axle standard developed by SRAM. Compatible DT Swiss components are designed to reach a maximal stiffness of fork and wheel and simultaneously a low weight. This was achieved by an oversized area of support between hub and dropout, an extremely torsion-proof axle as well as widely jacked spokes. Predictive Steering components are exclusively compatible with Rock Shox RS-1 suspension forks.

Adapted rim
SPLINE® wheels come with rims specifically designed for their intended use and are tubeless convertible.

Straight pull spokes
SPLINE® wheels use high precision straight pull spokes for the perfect strength to weight ratio. Stronger than conventional spokes, they are still true- and replaceable with standard tools.

SPLINE® hub shell
The result of precise engineering: A lightweight, aggressive looking hub shell specifically designed for straight pull spoke use.

Spoke positioning
The SPLINE® hub shell design and straight pull spokes allow for an optimized position of the spoke anchor points, creating a stiffer, more responsive wheel.

Spoke anchors
Due to the shape of the spoke anchors, spoke pull has only minimal effects on the bearing seats, which in turn considerably increases bearing longevity.

Lacing pattern
SPLINE® hubs are optimized for their respective lacing pattern. This ensures that the spokes align with mathematical precision so that material use is minimized for the best strength to weight ratio.

The maximum recommended system weight is 110 kg.
