Description of Trek DOMANE 2.0 Tiagra Roadbike 2016 - viper red
Smoother is Faster!
Domane with IsoSpeed has it all: Blistering speed. Incredible race comfort and stability, even on the punishing pavé of Flanders and Roubaix. Don't endure. Conquer.
Powering over centuries-old cobbles, charging up dizzying climbs, descending on rails to an epic win. That's how Fabian Cancellara rides his Domane. How will you ride yours?
In this configuration the 200 Series Alpha Aluminium IsoSpeed frame comes with Shimano Tiagra 2x10-speed drivetrain, Tubeless Ready wheelset with Bontrager R1 tires and alloy parts.
200 Series Alpha Aluminium - Trek's high-performance road alloy, formed into sophisticated tube shapes for maximum strength and minimum weight.
Endurance Geometry - As befits the world's most advanced endurance racing bikes, we've developed the world's most stable racing geometry. Still racy, but with a slightly higher head tube for better stability and greater comfort through the entire ride.
IsoSpeed-Decoupler - Trek engineers designed a decoupler that allows the seat tube to rotate independently from the top-tube-to-seatstay junction, increasing vertical compliance to twice that of Trek's nearest competitor, without compromising pedaling efficiency. Result: you can ride harder, longer.
IsoSpeed-Fork - An extra curve above the dropout in Treks swept-leg design creates a smaller angle to the direction of road vibrations. This angle increases fore/aft compliance, better positioning the fork leg to absorb road force rather than transmitting it straight to the rider. They've also increased fork lateral stiffness, maximizing both smoothness and control.
