A top-class, ultra-lightweight climbing helmet! The very low weight is achieved by using an EPP (expanded polypropylene) shell and an absolutely minimalist adjustment system. In addition to the excellent cushioning properties of the EPP plastic, the helmet shell is also reinforced with a robust hard shell so as to guarantee maximum safety. To help climbers keep a cool head when solving the next crux section, the Wall Rider is equipped with numerous generous ventilation openings. The superb fit and the individually adjustable adjustment system ensure that the helmet sits perfectly on the head. There are also two clips and a elast strap to attach a headlamp securely to the helmet.

The structure of the ultra-light-weight Wall Rider helmet pursues a completely new approach: the helmet shell is shaped completely of EPP (Expanded Polypropylene). This plastic has much better dampening properties at the same weight as the standard material EPS (Expanded Polystyrene). EPP «recovers» very quickly after (e.g. impact) stress and returns to its original shape, while a helmet shell of EPS will suffer sustainably visible material damage and may even break in extreme cases.
To meet the high demands of standard crash tests while also ensuring thin wall thicknesses of the EPP shell, the helmet is reinforced with a partial hard shell in the front and upper head areas. The Wall Rider thus combines the best of both (helmet) worlds: a super light-weight thin-walled EPP- shell with outstanding dampening and a robust partial hard shell as protection against rock and ice fall.
