In 2015 Shimano introduced its Deore XT M8000 series for mountain bikers. Now Shimano has expanded the Deore XT definition to cover mountain biking and trekking with its T8000 range. Although the two component groups look very different, much like the riders, they share advanced riding technology that it set to increase performance and enjoyment in a variety of mixed-terrain on-road and off-road trekking and touring conditions.

The front derailleur works effortlessly across the triple chainset with a light action and smooth operation across a total capacity of 22 teeth.
