This killer composite machine has been developed and perfected over the years in an uncompromising quest to give Giant pros the fastest DH bike in the world. The latest version of the Glory Advanced breaks new ground in stiffness, weight and all-around performance. It features 200 mm of fully active Maestro rear suspension on a superlight, stiff and strong composite mainframe. The frame geometry, engineered to optimize its 27.5 wheels, has helped deliver pros like Marcelo Gutierrez to World Cup podiums on the world’s toughest courses. It’s the lightest composite DH frame ever produced by Giant, and it’s hungry to win.
Advanced Composite Frame - High-performance T-700 raw carbon fiber is used to produce custom composite material in Giant’s own composite factory. Extremely lightweight, stiff and compliant, these handcrafted frames feature the monocoque construction.
27.5-Specific Geometry - “long and low” DH frame geometry is tailored for 27.5-inch wheels to optimize control, acceleration and chiefly stability.
Maestro Suspension - Uses four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages that work together to create a single floating pivot point for the most active, efficient suspension system.
Powercore - A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 83-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Megadrive - A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.
Overdrive - Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings and the steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
