Lightweight and stiff road/cyclo cross disc specific wheelset feat. a wide, tubeless compatible rim.
This wheelset uses Hope's latest RS4 hubs. They have been created as road/cyclocross hubs right from the initial concept. The RS4s still maintain Hopes legendary reliability and serviceability. The hub shells are produced from single forged billets of 2014 T6 aluminium. Stainless steel cartridge bearings ensure smooth running characteristics and long durability. Thanks to Straightpull flanges weight of the RS4 has been reduced and spoke replacement became easier. Adding a two pawl ratchet mechanism at the rear Hope has created a drive with significantly less drag and as a result, a quieter freehub. With Centerlock disc mounts.
The new Hope 20Five is a disc specific tubeless compatible (tape and valve not included) rim made from aluminium. A strong dependable welded join keeps the rim together on hard knocks. Its 25mm deep, 20mm internally and 24mm externally wide profile is is ideal to suit larger volume road/gravel road/cross tyres. A single rim weighs just 425g!
