Description of Alpina Tri-Guard 50 White Grey/CeramiC Mirror Black + Orange + CeramiC Clear Glasses

Alpina's successfull Tri-Guard 50 with three replacement lenses and case. Perfect wearing comfort thanks to adjustable temples and silicone nose pads. Two ventilation ports above the nose avoid fogging of the lenses.

The strongly convexed lenses surround the face. They offer protection from draft and coldness and therefore provide an improved view. CeramiC Mirror lenses are hardcoated at the inside and mirrored at the frontside. They absorb UV rays as well as infrared rays.

CeramiC Mirror Black lenses protect from bright sunlight, while CeramiC Mirror Orange lenses offer an optimal view in diffuse light conditions, cloudy weather and in the dawn. CeramiC Clear lenses practically absorb no light, but offer best protection from UV rays, wind, dust and insects.

Customer Reviews
I recommend those glasses
I have had my glasses fro almost 3 years and they have been great since they do the work well. I mainly use the orange glass which makes me see even in darker environments, but also works in bright sunlight. They protect the eyes well from turbulence in the corner of the eyes when bicycling due to the wide lenses. If you stand still and breathing heavily, then the glasses fogging, but as soon you start to move the ventilation really do a good work. If the glasses would be easier to clean and less easy to scratch, then they would get 5 stars, and if they would have cromatic lenses they would get another star as well ;)

Bike24: Thanks for your review. While it is true that glass lenses are less prone to scratching, the risk of them shattering in the event of a crash would have way more dramatic consequences for your eyes than a composite lens which just scratches.
