Redistributing mass closer to the hub results in improved performance, faster acceleration and deceleration. Crankbrothers wheels spin up faster than traditional wheels.

Iodine 2 rims are specifically designed around the lightweight needs and tire widths (28mm inner | 32,5mm outer rim width) of all mountain/enduro riders.

The twinpair spoke design forms triangulated load bearing structures, providing superior strength and lateral stiffness, with just 24 spokes per wheel. With single spoke lengths, replaceable without removing the cassette, rotor, or tire it's simple to service.

Tubeless ready thanks to hole-less rims: there are no spoke holes through the rim wall or rim bed and therefore no rim tape is needed for a tubeless setup.

Thru axle caps (15x110mm Boost, 12x148mm Boost rear) are installed.

The freehub is interchangeable with the Crankbrothers XD-Freehub Body (sold separately).
