OTTOLOCK® is an all-new cinch lock for both cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts who value their gear and need a compact and lightweight solution.

OTTOLOCK is designed for short-stop security and protecting against theft opportunists. It’s more secure than a cable lock and much lighter than a U-Lock. With its low weight and a very small diameter OTTOLOCK is truly portable and always there when you need it.

Security is addressed with a patent-pending, multi-layer steel and Kevlar® band design, making it extremely cut-resistant. Conventional theft tools like wire or bolt cutters will have a hard time against OTTOLOCK. It is not a replacement for a U-Lock. For maximum security, use a redundant locking method with both a U-Lock and a secondary lock. It features a resettable combination lock.

Do not buy

THis is possibly the worst lock ever. It is supersi ple to cut this with a good pair of shears. Just look it up on the net. Not recommended,

Manufacturer's statement:
The lock is tough, nobody is going to get through the Kevlar/steel band without serious effort or the right kind of hardware. A normal pair of scissors/bolt cutters/pliers wouldn't cut through that band like that. The lock is a deterrent against opportunist thieves - someone who is walking past and as in so many cases see's a bike without any lock at all and has it away. The lock is light, small and easy to carry and use and when cinched tightly to the bike is a great short stay protection. The lock isn't an alternative to a U-Lock but a good protection against opportunist thieves for short stays.
