ABUS Pro Shield Plus 5950 Frame Lock

The Abus Pro Shield Plus 5950 frame lock is a covenient protection against unauthorized use of the bicycle. The 8.5 mm steel shackle offers a good protection at medium theft risk and is recommended for securing good bicycles. In addition the lock offers a closing mechanism for easy attachment of accessory to the lockbody.

The lock is available in different versions. The R (retaining) version holds the key when the lock is open, the NR (non retaining) version allows taking the key out of the cylinder. Abus Security Level 9.

Technology:

• 8.5 mm steel shackle
• The case, the shackle as well as supporting elements of the locking mechanism are made of special hardened steel
• Closing mechanism for easy attachment of accessory to the lockbody

• ABUS Plus cylinder for high protection against manipulations, e.g. picking

Holder:

• LH adapter (56240) (available separately) - Can be used as an alternative mounting option if there are no drill holes on the rear
• SH (37552) (available separately) - Easy attachment by screwing to the rear struts

Tip:

• The security can be increased significantly by using the accessory 4960, 5850, 5650 Cable and Chain
• It is highly recommendable to use a second lock besides the frame lock
