Tencel®

TENCEL® naturally absorbs excess moisture and quickly releases it back into the environment. New functional properties can be created due to the controlled and regular arrangement of the nanofibrils in the TENCEL® fiber. The nanofibrils are hydrophilic (water-attracting) and ensure optimum moisture absorption with the best climate properties on the skin.
The optimal moisture transport of TENCEL® is unique compared to synthetic fibers. Synthetic fibers cannot absorb moisture into the fiber interior. TENCEL® absorbs 50% more moisture than cotton. At an air humidity of 65%, TENCEL® still has free capacity compared to other fibers to transport moisture away from the skin.
