Comfort is key in endurance races. The Lava suit benefits from significant improvements to the fabric used on the upper body to improve breathability, temperature control and freedom of movement.

AERO-STRIPE- An innovative striped material from Italy is placed on the upper chest to improve aerodynamics. This textured UPF 50 material creates turbulence at key boundary layers at high speeds on the bike, reducing drag and improving race times.

Aeroforce Soft-Touch - A revolutionary French fabric is used on the main front and back panels and is extremely comfortable against the skin and technically advanced. It's one of the most expensive high performance fabrics on the market, but once you try it, you'll understand why.

Fabric:

• Sensual: An extremely smooth and soft fabric that feels fantastic against the skin. It provides extra support and compression to the legs along with a fully water repellent coating. The material is highly breathable and sweat-wicking, while the 360º stretch ensures total freedom of movement.
• Integrated leg grippers: High quality Italian design with natural gold fibers for enhanced comfort. This extended panel is bonded for optimal fit and tensile strength. The grippers keep the legs in place on the bike and run without an extra seam as seen on most tri suits. This fabric is also highly breathable, wicks moisture and hugs the body comfortably for an excellent fit.

Performance:

• Each fabric has been carefully selected and positioned to enhance performance, comfort and endurance.
• Balanced Compressionis provided through the legs thanks to a carefully designed panel shape and the high denier rating of the Sensory fabric. This improves muscle support and helps to increase blood flow away from the legs, reducing the amount of lactic acid build up and helping to improve endurance and stamina.
• Brand new 'Iron Performance' pad: Developed by Cytech, one of the world's leading pad manufacturers in Italy. Arguably one of the most important aspects of racing over this distance is comfort in the saddle. The perforated pad lamination ensures maximum breathability and quick drying. The high-density foam provides more cushioning and protection when cycling and the central channeling in the Perinea area is designed to compensate for pressure points. The high elasticity of the padding also maximizes freedom of movement when swimming and running. Described by 220 Magazine as "remarkably good in the saddle".
• Heat Bonded Sleeves - For optimum fit and comfort and reduced drag compared to seams.
• Comfortable fit across the body so you can maximize performance in swimming, cycling and running.
