On forest trails, asphalt or cobblestone pavement: the Spotlight Trekking bike by Simplon is perfectly equipped for all situations. The special shape of the main frame tubes is almond-shaped in cross-section. Due to the generally flatter tube, the frame remains vertically elastic and thus more comfortable. The side edge of the tube increases the impact resistance at the most endangered point. A big plus: fast propulsion, comfort and impact protection for the frame.

The aluminium alloys ASC-9 and ULTRA-T6 used in Simplon are considerably more resilient than conventional 7005 aluminium with the same weight. This ensures that the material is designed to withstand loads across the frame. The result: increased stability and stiffness with optimized weight.
