Aggressive, premier and unwavering those were words WTB used to describe the highly esteemed Vigilante and they still ring true for these wider brethren. WTB simply dreamed of ripping trails on wider versions of their favorite aggressive mountain tire.

WTB wouldn't hand you spineless claims about vast improvements unless they were true. The Vigilante sees a massive increase in both the height and surface area of the side knobs. Tall, stout outer knobs not only able to dig deeper, but also start digging sooner in the initial stages of cornering. Updated siping arrangement places emphasis on cornering forces, while the larger knobs don’t discriminate against reckless braking. Increased circumferential spacing allows the tread to remain clear in muddy conditions, while still keeping the casing protected from spiteful rocks.

• Square-lugged knobs deliver unwavering traction, yet with added height to ensure they dig even deeper into loose, unpredictable terrain.

• Increased circumferential spacing allows the tread to remain clear in sloppy conditions, while still keeping the casing protected from spiteful rocks.
• TriTec technology utilizing three rubber compounds to provide different levels of traction, support and durability.
• Vigilante 2.5 and 2.6 are optimized for use with i29 rims, whereas the Vigilante 2.8 is optimized for use with i35 rims.

Tough High Grip (THG)

TriTec Compound

Three compounds provide optimal levels of traction, support and durability. A base of high durometer rubber supports the entire tread and transitions into the knobs to prevent folding or squirming. Medium stiffness center knobs cap the base layer to provide traction and durability without sacrificing rolling efficiency, while soft compound side knobs deliver maximum grip and slow rebound for increased cornering traction.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
