The Alp Mate Mid was developed for mountain enthusiasts looking for a reliable and comfortable mid-cut shoe for hiking and backpacking. It has a high-quality suede upper with a waterproof, breathable membrane, so it keeps out wind and weather and dries quickly.
The breathability is further enhanced by the inserts made of robust mesh material on the tongue and ankle. In addition, the rubber toe cap and heel stabilizer provide your feet with additional protection and stability.
This shoe is designed for comfort while hiking and the SALEWA® 3F system provides flexibility, heel support and a stable, secure fit. The durable EVA midsole provides a soft touchdown and excellent shock absorption even on rough ground. The shoe can also be easily adjusted thanks to the climbing lacing and flexible eyelets - for more precision on technical terrain.
The POMOCA® outsole, which is tailored to the requirements of hiking, has a lug design that offers stability, grip and adhesion and also supports natural foot movement off the beaten track.
3F system - combines lacing system, sole and heel - for the perfect combination of fit, flexibility and support.
Climbing Lacing - offers precise lacing in the toe area of the shoe, for more support and performance in difficult terrain.
