Technologies of the KED Street Jr. MIPS helmet

The EPS inner shell of KED helmets provides maximum impact absorption in the event of a fall. The MIPS system provides an additional safety feature by reducing the rotational forces acting on the brain. The low-friction shell of the MIPS system allows for 10-15 mm of sliding in all directions at an oblique impact angle.

With the maxSHELL® manufacturing process, almost the entire EPS inner shell is covered by the outer microshell, even into the ventilation openings (maximum microshell coverage).

The QUICKSTOPP® system in the middle of the helmet allows quick adjustment of the strap length and prevents the strap from slipping from one side of the head to the other.

With the K-FIT system, KED has developed one of the most modern and lightest fitting systems with integrated mono-LED. K-FIT combines visibility thanks to reflector and flashing LED with a precise, fine-grid adjustment in both directions of rotation and reliable locking in the selected position.
