With the Heckler, you can expand your trail network, ride previously inaccessible trails and open up lesser-used trails for you - and all completely independently. The full carbon frame and the replaceable 504Wh battery keep the weight low compared to other e-bikes. On long tours, the battery can be easily swapped.
The Shimano EP8 motor is lighter than its predecessor (380 g), has more power (85 Nm compared to 75 Nm), a smaller volume (-10%) for more ground clearance, less drag (50%), is more heat resistant and tuned for more power in trail mode. All of this means it's even better suited for long, hard rides.
And like every Santa Cruz bike, the Heckler is built for the rigors of real mountain biking. Shimano drivetrain technology was chosen for its sophistication and reliability, while the quality of the bearings and the simple and clever internal cable routing retain the classic qualities of Santa Cruz bikes.
