The X-Wheel SpeedCarbon Disc 44 wheelsets are the latest product of the Italian brand Carbon-Ti for road bikes. They are handmade and completely customized products, realized to best fit the customer's bike.
The new generation rims are Tubeless Ready and have an extremely wide inner width of 23mm. They feature a new design with micro hooks that provide both the benefits of hookless technology and the safety of rims with hooks. The improved rim profile has been designed for better transition of air flows between rim and tire, improving aerodynamic efficiency with low drag.
The asymmetric hole with an offset of 2mm does not affect aerodynamics and allows optimal spoke tension on both sides, for better wheel stiffness. The use of wide tires is recommended to obtain maximum performance. They allow lower tire pressure and provide better control, smoother and faster rolling, especially in poor road conditions. A wider rim allows the tire to compress less for lower rolling resistance.
The X-Hub Straight Pull hubs are still 100% designed and manufactured in Italy. They are equipped with high quality sealed SKF bearings, which provide very good smooth running and maximum reliability. In addition, the hubs offer a mount for centerlock brake discs and 12mm thru axles.
In addition to the conventional 24-month manufacturer's warranty, the "Lifetime Crash Replacement" program can be claimed. This program covers all possible accidents that are excluded from the normal warranty, and offers the possibility to get a product back with a new rim and new spokes at a special low price.
