The Aclima WarmWool Hoodie with zipper at the neck is Aclima's most popular garment. With its functional three-tier design, you can choose between a crew neck, a high collar, or a balaclava - all in one garment. The balaclava has WoolNet over the nose and mouth to minimize the risk of icing on really cold days. It's snug-fitting for the best fit against your body on cold days. Ribbed knit sides for comfort and freedom of movement. Two-way zipper at neck for optimal temperature regulation. Thumbholes for warm wrists. Hands can be warmed in the zippered belly pocket. Convenient wrist opening for easy access to altimeter/watch.
WarmWool is a knitted material and therefore elastic and flexible. The fabric is made of merino wool with a weight of 200 g/m². The fibers in WarmWool have a thickness of 20.5 microns, the material is soft and comfortable on the skin. WarmWool is suitable as underwear or second layer when it gets really cold.
