Description of Supernova E3 Pro 2 Front Light - polished ti-grey

The E3 Pro 2 is the improved successor of the workhorse of the Supernova product line. There is probably no other light on the market seeing as much action as this one. This lamp is in use as daytime light in the heat of California, has to withstand British weather conditions all year round and each winter has to endure the salt on German roads. The E3 Pro 2 accompanies bike travelers to the most remote regions of the planet as reliably as it lights the way of commuters on their daily way to work. Its extremely bright light provides great safety in traffic and leaves no pothole and no shard of glass unlit. The improved side-illumination greatly increases the safety in traffic and the brightly glowing Supernova logo is a real highlight.

The E3 Pro 2 features the a glare-free Terraflux2 lensto provide a very wide, homogeneous spread of light on the ground, even at low speeds. The light appears to be very bright because most of it is guided towards the ground yet the beam reaches far enough for fast riding. New is the spectacular side illumination for increased sefety in traffic. The combination of the high-end CREE LED and the innovative Terraflux2 lens exceeds the recommendations of german law by far and offers up to 205 lumens of light!

High performance electronics allow for 35% more light output at low speeds compared to the predecessors of the E3 Pro 2. The typical flickering of hub dynamo lights is almost gone. The stand-light of the E3 PRO 2 shines for more than 5 minutes with the Supernova dynamo tail light. The power comes from a high-quality double-layer Supercap capacitor, which is charged gently and doesn't have any memory effect. A robust push button on the rear of the body switches the light on or off.

The E3 Pro 2 can be used with all standard 6V hub dynamos. It can not be used with batteries.

Included in delivery is the high quality CNC machined Multimount bracket featuring stainless hardware and two pivot points to allow for easy adjustments of the light. A fitting handlebar mount is available separately.

Gut
Poor
Definitvly not a 200 lux, always less than 80, even at hight speed. (And 15 lux at 12km/h)

Bike24: We thank you for your feedback.

Please do not confuse lux and lumen.
The Lamp offers up to 205 lumens.

This is not a 200 lux light ! This is a good regular light, but around 15 lux at 12km/h and less than 80lux at 30km/h
