The LE HOUDINI S9 was developed for pure speed. The new TARGA version is even lighter and more aerodynamic. At the same time, the comfort is also improved by the revised seat pad.
The use of five different fabrics and the unique cut reduces air resistance and moisture absorption, reducing weight and improving aerodynamics. Comfort is further enhanced by the EQUIPE S9 Sundeck pad, which combines shock absorption and stability with multi-directional, cooling airflow. Additional skinGrip Finish Leg Grippers keep the pant legs in place without excessive pressure.
The lower part is made of compressive Type.441 and, on the legs or crotch area, pressure-relieving Ossidia. The upper part is composed of highly breathable Stabilizator V7, with which the pockets are firmly anchored. At the front miniCheck Tex fabric has been processed. The sleeves feature aerodynamic, low-profile Push Pull textile that gives the LE HOUDINI TARGA compression, breathability, UV resistance and aerodynamics. Nowhere else in the world will you find a textile combination like this.
This is the most aggressive, aerodynamic and compressive gear in the Assos range. The skin-tight racingFit fit feels a bit restrictive when you're standing, but conforms perfectly to your body when you're in the saddle.
Bonded seams: sealed seams reduce bulk, drag and friction compared to sewn seams.
Triple Ramp Pockets: Pre-shaped for increased capacity and stability. A fabric flap ensures safe storage of your personal items and an opening for your headphones in the pocket discreetly conceals cables.
Raw cut Sleeves: the sealing on the sleeve hems has been removed, making the arm cuffs more aerodynamic as well. This gives you a completely flat finish that is not restrictive at all.
skinGrip Finish: The open-edged edge with anti-slip coating provides a secure grip on the legs without excessive pressure.
Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: Compressive 9mm foam with 3D waffle padding for less weight and better air exchange. A thermoformed cut reduces annoying transitions and friction.
goldenGate: A stitch pattern that allows the pad to move freely - with you instead of against you.
Sundeck Superlight: A section of soft material designed for comfort at the front of the pad that improves airflow, reduces pressure on the most sensitive areas of the body and allows for a wrinkle-free fit throughout the garment.
whirlKrater: Strategically placed perforations of the pad that provide improved breathability.
