As an entry-level Race Series, the EQUIPE R combines the technology of the EQUIPE RS system with simplified everyday usability.
The EQUIPE R is developed based on the proven A-Lock engineering design, which adopts technologies from the WorldTour-proven EQUIPE RS. It maintains the stability of the racingFit fit with a muscle-wrapping butterfly panel and new Type.443 textile that supports and breathes in the same way as the EQUIPE RS, but in a deeper shade of black. A monofilament rubber band in the straps reduces weight and dries faster than double-layer models. The shorts continue to feature Assos' race padding.
The EQUIPE R equips riders with pure speed for both training and racing, while being suitable for everyday use.
The Type.443 textile is a compressive, abrasion-resistant warp knit that is similar in weight and compressive stability to the Type.441 from the EQUIPE RS series. Extremely breathable and supportive with a deeper, more intense shade of black as well as USF 50+.
Assos racingFit fit fits like a second skin and creates an aerodynamic silhouette. Micro-fitted shaping wraps around large muscles and provides compressive support with a standard leg length.
