VECTIV™ technology is designed to maximize power transfer to the trail. To do this, it combines an ultra-lightweight but stabilizing footplate, a midsole with rocker bend-up and a grippy SurfaceCTRL™ outsole. The Exploris is the translation for a long-distance hiking boot. But while this version features the same great details as the original, we've made a few changes. The platform under the foot is wider and provides more stability. The cantilever is 2mm higher for more comfort and support. And the rockered midsole offers a bifurcated heel and forefoot and TPU plate for more lateral stability. The FUTURELIGHT™ membrane was developed in collaboration with The North Face® athletes and is still as waterproof and breathable as ever. The heels and toes are reinforced for protection on rocky trails, and 4mm lugs provide firm grip on uneven terrain.
VECTIV technology combines a 3D plate and rocker-shaped midsole underfoot - converting energy into forward momentum.
Made of biomaterial, this rubber outsole provides unmatched grip and best durability.
