You're free to install a rear rack and mudguards. The frame has dedicated mounting points for a neat and reliable solution. To mount a front or rear light, a cable has already been routed in the frame, no additional battery is needed - the power comes directly from the battery of the drive unit.
The bottom bracket area is exposed to stones or other possible impacts, so SCOTT has developed the "Impact Damper". It is reinforced to withstand impacts, has a rubber layer to reduce noise and is ventilated so as not to interfere with the airflow of the drive unit.
