Great product...some more info
Updating rating to 5 stars.

I have had my SKS chainguard for 4 months now. No complaints.

It did not fit my bike with Hollowtech II crankset. And it did not fit my 2nd bike with a newer square tapered crankset (everything is closer to the chainline, resulting in insufficient room between the right crank and the outermost chainring).

So, the chainguard is on my 3rd bike (8-speed cassette) that I generally use for everyday city riding in bad weather. I was worrying what to do when my crankset wears out. My local bike store no longer carries 3-wheel sets with a low number of teeth e.g. 22/32/42. However, I have since discovered that some large German online retailers still sell square tapered cranksets for as little as 20-25 euros.
Protects pant cuffs. Fit to crankset is hit and miss.
Bottom bracket must be removed (there is a video by SKS). Even if correct length selected, fit to crankset is hit and miss. It did not fit my MTB with Hollowtech 2 triple chainwheel crankset.

It fit my other MTB with an old triple chainring crankset which had more horizontal spacing between right crank and large chainwheel. I was able to set up with no rubbing.

On top near front derailleur, cut-out section can be broken off in case front derailleur is jutting upwards. Use hacksaw to cut off smallest section possible. If whole section is removed, pants could get "sucked" into opening.

Chainguard protects both pants and chain. Over a winter season in Toronto it kept my chain in good condition, Made of quality plastic.
