The Free Alpha® Direct insulated jacket for men provides reliable warmth and is highly breathable, even on long, demanding climbs.
This model blurs the boundaries between insulation, fleece and softshell jackets. The jacket with innovative Polartec® Alpha® Direct lining offers you constant warmth and high breathability on ski tours. This means that your body climate is optimally regulated even on demanding ascents without the risk of overheating. The jacket also scores points for its low weight and high level of comfort on all your adventures.
The active and recycled Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation has an open construction that allows moisture and excess body heat to escape. The insulation fibers are attached to a mesh core, eliminating the need for a lining on the inside of the jacket. This saves weight and ensures a soft and fluffy feel against your skin.
The wind-repellent nylon outer material also protects against light precipitation thanks to the PFC-free DWR treatment. With inserts made from woven fleece material on the sides, the jacket offers you great freedom of movement and excellent moisture management. Elastic fabric at the cuffs, hood and hem ensures that the jacket stays reliably in place when you move. A chest pocket and two further front pockets round off the features.
