Carbon has the decisive advantage over aluminum that it hardly deforms. The wheel is therefore significantly more durable and less susceptible to bumps and side impacts.
Not all carbon is the same. The layer structure and the arrangement of the fibers are decisive for the function and stiffness of a carbon component. Our products meet requirements such as lightness, stiffness, comfort and aesthetics thanks to a complex mix of woven and non-woven fabrics.
Avoiding weak points was a very important development goal. While the competition glues their rims together from several parts, our rims are completely laminated and cured from a single piece. Although this increases the effort involved, it provides stability, saves weight and results in a homogeneous rim.
The wider the rim profile, the more laterally rigid the rim becomes. Our wide rim profile results in outstanding stiffness values for wheels in this weight class. Consistent power transmission, e.g. in the cradle, makes you feel it.
The height of the rim profile is decisive for radial stiffness. Radial loads such as those experienced by the rim on uneven surfaces, bumps or even punctures are reduced by a high profile. The spokes are therefore hardly relieved, which directly increases the service life of the structure. Our 29 mm high rims offer a perfect compromise between stiffness and weight. Agile handling and lightning-fast acceleration during sprints are promised!
3.5 mm asymmetry means that the difference between the hub flanges, which are inevitably positioned asymmetrically to the hub center, is reduced by 7 mm. The lateral spoke angle and also the spoke tension on the right and left sides are equalized by the asymmetry. Stiffness and durability benefit from this geometric intervention.
Ideal for cross tires with a width between 33 and 50 mm.laminated spoke holes Another decisive advantage of our rims are the pre-compacted, laminated and undrilled spoke holes - this means no separated fibres, and therefore even more stability for the wheels. This also reliably protects the rim from spoke tears.
For the nipples to sit perfectly in the rim, they need a proper nipple seat. In our rims, this is preformed, compacted and specially adapted to the nipple geometry of Sapim and DT Swiss nipples.
The advantages of tubeless technology can now be fully exploited. Lower air pressure provides more grip, traction, comfort and riding pleasure. Rolling resistance is reduced and propulsion is guaranteed! Our rim base can be combined with all common tubeless tire models.
By omitting the brake track, we are moving with the times. Disc brakes are the future of deceleration in the cyclocross sector. There is no heat input into the rim on long, steep descents, for example - safety is increased. Grinding noises and reduced braking performance in rainy or muddy conditions are a thing of the past. The rim remains wear-free and guarantees long-lasting enjoyment.
