A cluster dextrin molecule consists of 60 to 70 glucose (sugar) units linked together. In comparison, maltodextrin, the most common carbohydrate used in gels and performance drinks, contains 3 to 20 linked glucose units.
• More complex: Cluster dextrin has a unique structure. Its glucose units are linked together like branches bound into a wreath. Maltodextrin, on the other hand, is a long, straight chain of linked units. When maltodextrin is digested, all the glucose units break apart at once. This can overload the intestines. When cluster dextrin is digested, the branches take time to unfold and the glucose units break off one by one. With Super High-Carb you get a steady release of energy without the risk of gastrointestinal discomfort.

Directions

Add 7 scoops of the powder to 250 ml of water. Shake vigorously. Add the remaining 250 - 350 ml of water and shake again. Allow to rest for 15 minutes before use for better mixing. One portion provides approx. 400 kcal in one bottle. Use more or less mix per bottle depending on your carbohydrate requirements.
