Thermo Shield

Thermo Shield is the basic treatment Edelrid applies to all ropes to guarantee the proven suppleness of EDELRID ropes. This treatment is a thermal process that perfectly matches the core and sheath yarns. A special heat treatment causes the fibers in the rope to relax and shrink. This harmonizes the gliding properties of the yarns within the rope and makes the rope supple and compact. This produces ropes that neither shrink nor stiffen quickly.

Lap Coil
