The RockShox Fork – A Mountain Biking Revolution

Over 25 years ago, Paul Turner, the founder of RockShox, began to revolutionise mountain biking by developing the first series suspension fork, later presenting the first full-suspension MTB at the trade fair in Long Beach USA.
The lightweight fork, known as "RS-1", featured 50mm of travel, air suspension and oil damping.
Just one year later, with the support of Dia-Compe and the first downhill world champion, RockShox test rider and later, company spokesman, Greg Herbold, RS-1 series production began, and it was a hit! This RockShox fork came off the assembly line back in 1990 bearing the same logo that riders know and love today.
Well-known manufacturers such as Specialized then began to kit out bikes like the Stumpjumper with RockShox suspension forks.
Whilst other manufacturers of MTB suspension components were still in their infancy, RockShox was already launching another milestone onto the public scene: the Judy fork, with up to 80mm of travel. This split opinions on the MTB scene, but also gave it an identity, one of freedom and expression.

Since then, RockShox developers have worked tirelessly and introduced innovations such as the first series shocks or carbon fork parts via the BlackBox programme. The current RockShox suspension forks are the state of the art in technology thanks to things like Debon Air+ suspension or the Charger 3 damper
RockShox has been a member of the SRAM family since 2002, making for a perfect, high-quality interaction with SRAM gear components and drive parts, and Truvativ cockpit parts.

RockShox - suspension forks, shocks and accessories for every type of trail

The Signature Series: High-End RockShox Bike Suspension, for Any Type of Trail

Whether 26, 27.5 (650B) or 29 inches, the comprehensive range of forks at RockShox leaves riders wanting for nothing: for the fastest cross-country race routes, RockShox has the legendary SID SL (100-120mm travel). Equipped with the Charger Race Day damper, TwistLoc handlebar remote and the DebonAir spring with even lower friction, this super-light RockShox fork is extremely precise and efficient. For a dream bike that’ll dominate the trails, RockShox has the Pike (120-160mm), for hardcore enduro riders, the RockShox Lyrik (150-180mm) and for freerides without limits, the powerful RockShox ZEB (160-180mm). All Signature forks by RockShox are equipped with the latest DebonAir technology and the Charger 3 damper as a matter of course. And downhill riders will find happiness with the seemingly indestructible BoXXer Ultimate, with 200mm of travel and a 20x110mm boost axle.
The top forks in the Signature series (SID, Pike, Lyrik, ZEB, Boxxer) as well as the RockShox rear shocks in the Deluxe Range have been given new series names, so it’s easier to know what’s what. High-end spring elements are all classified under "Ultimate", whilst models in the Select+ and Select categories come just below.
But no matter what your choice is, don't forget to add is a precisely RockShox pump to easily find the perfect setup to hit the trails.

RockShox Shocks & Seatposts: Ride in Comfort at All Times

Ground contact is everything, so it’s hardly surprising that the RockShox range includes RockShox shocks to perfectly match their forks, such as the trail-dominating RockShox Deluxe series, the Monarch for cross-country use and the Vivid for going big.
Suspension components can be complemented with the RockShox Reverb telescopic seatpost, with an adjustment range of up to 200mm and handlebar remote control, also available from us. The wireless electronic Reverb AXS come with a touch controller instead of hydraulic lever, so wasting your precious time routing hydraulic cables is a thing of the past. And thanks to AXS technology, you even adjust your RockShox seatpost via app and link it with all other SRAM AXS-enabled components.
