Saucony was founded in 1998, just two years after the first Olympic Marathon and one year after the first Boston Marathon, and has running in its blood. The company's name is derived from the river Saucon in Pennsylvania, on whose banks the history of Saucony began and means "fast flowing river". Today, Saucony is particularly well known among ambitious runners for innovative trainers for women and men with outstanding quality.
Saucony's award-winning EVERUN cushioning technology offers more flexibility and is up to three times more durable than other materials. It ensures a comfortable landing, a natural rebound and a powerful kick, whether at fast speeds or the long run at the weekend.
Saucony offers EVERUN technology in two different versions for individual requirements and applications. With "Full EVERUN Cushioning" the damping material is located in the complete midsole. This is used on Saucony's comfort models Xodus, Liberty ISO, Freedom ISO, Triumph ISO and Hurricane ISO and lets you land incredibly softly and push off dynamically and reactively. If you prefer a shoe with a more direct running feel, but don't want to miss out on the EVERUN dynamics, take a closer look at the popular Saucony models with the 3mm EVERUN Topsole directly under the insole: Kinvara, Ride ISO, Koa TR, Echelon, Redeemer ISO, Breakthru, Jazz, Peregrine, Guide ISO and Omni - EVERUN is available for every running style, from neutral to stability, from road to trail. It's your world: you decide how you run.
The selection of shoes on the running market is huge and yet a few models manage to make a name for themselves and become legends throughout the running scene. One of these shoes is the Saucony Kinvara, which saw the light of day for the first time in 2009. Meanwhile the shoe is available in its tenth version as Kinvara 10 and the success story is far from over. The Kinvara fulfils the desire for a lightweight neutral shoe that gives a natural running feel, is reduced to the bare essentials without sacrificing cushioning and comfort. The Kinvara was the first shoe with a 4 mm offset in 2009 to herald fundamental changes in the Saucony range, but also in the entire running shoe market. Other popular Saucony top sellers are the light and minimalist competition shoe Type A8 and the competition-proven neutral shoe Fastwich 8 with light fatigue support.
Saucony exists for runners. The passion for running drives the company to design the best running shoes in the world. Saucony lives by the credo: It's a good day when we can run. It's a great day when we inspire someone else to run.
