The Rotor REX 1.1 XC1 crank was designed with a 30mm axle, with performance and functionality in mind. It's being both lighter and stiffer than previous Rotor MTB cranks. The crank arms of the Rotor REX 1.1 XC1 are made of 100% CNC machined 7055 aluminium which have been trinity drilled for a further weight reduction. Because of the CNC machined and black anodized surface the Rex 1.1 is featuring an attractive finish in contrast to other crank. Rotor's axle systems has been specifically developed for multiple BB systems. In addition Rotor has extended the compatibility of the REX 1.1 XC1 because now it's featuring an improved ultra stiff 30mm aluminium UBB axle.
This crank is manufactured using an improved version of Rotor´s proprietary "Trinity Drilling System" technology during manufacture. Due to the larger axle-crank contact area of a BB30 crank, all three holes can be drilled from the axle side of the crank arm, allowing further optimization of wall thicknesses. It improves both the weight and the weight-rigidity ratio of the crank arm.
The Rotor REX 1.1 XC1 MTB crank can be used with Rotor QX-Rings (not included in delivery), noQ- Rings and also with any standard chainrings for 76mm bolt circle diameter.

Great Value for the money! Cheaper than competitors!
Been using the oval chains for a while, honestly I can't say they are much of an advantage. Might feel a little more torque on the climbs. Power and cadence rates are very precise. Battery life is great! Great for training and races!
Oval Rotor QX1-Rings increase the power stroke by minimizing the intensity of the "dead spot" zones. For REX 1.1 and REX 2.1 cranks with 76mm BCD. Special single speed teeth design prevents chain suck.
The REX 2 crank closes the gap between Rotor's REX 3 and the performance-orientated REX 1 crank. Featuring trinity drilled, cold forged crank arms and 30mm UBB aluminium axle. XC1 version with 76mm BCD.
