Shimano Deore XT Di2 SC-MT800 System Information Display - black

The information display not only provides clear and easy-to-read information on the currently selected gear and the battery charge status, it is also the control center for fine-tuning the trim settings and for the reset mechanism, as well as a transmitter and receiver unit for wireless setting of Multi-Shift and Synchro-Shift function via smartphone and tablet.

Bluetooth technology allows riders and mechanics alike to communicate wirelessly with the Di2 system by establishing a connection between the wireless unit in the SC-MT800 information display and a tablet or smartphone. The only prerequisite is that the new internal battery BT-DN110 or the new holder for the external battery (BM-DN100) is installed. This benefits both the mechanic who wants to make extensive adjustments or perform error analyses in the workshop, as well as the mountain biker himself who wants to change certain settings on the spot on the trail via smartphone.

In addition, Shimano's wireless D-Fly data management system allows riders to view battery level and gear information on compatible devices, such as bike computers like the PRO SCIO ANT+ models. This new technology is supplied for the first time with the DEORE XT Di2 components and is also available to owners of current XTR Di2 systems after an appropriate upgrade to one of the new information displays (SC-MT800 or SC-M9051) and optionally the new internal battery or the new holder for external batteries.

In addition, the display unit serves as a charging port as well as a connection port for the E-Tube software and has three E-Tube slots for peripheral system components. Thus, E-Tube provides not only inside the frame for order, but also provides externally each mountain bike a chic, "clean" look.

Notes:

The scope of delivery includes only the display and mounting hardware (clamp 31.8 or 35 mm). For operation, a cable set EW-SD50 and the battery BT-DN110-1 are also required.

To ensure proper operation of the electronic Di2 drive system, the individual components require the same firmware version. The readout or update of the firmware is enabled via the optionally available diagnostic device. Operation of components with different firmware versions can lead to malfunctions or functional failure.
