Description of Fabric Line Race Shallow 142 Saddle - black/black

Based on Fabric's award-winning Scoop saddle, the Line saddle uses a split, single piece, full-length pad with a central relief channel to decrease pressure on the pudendal artery. The Line is supremely comfortable for longer days in the saddle. Version with 142 mm width.

All the support of a conventional saddle; all the comfort of a cutaway. The Line saddle amply supports sit bones with lightweight foam padding and relieves pressure with a central relief channel.

  • saddle profile: shallow, suits a performance orientated position that demands comfort and flexibility
  • base: nylon
  • rails: hollow with titanium-alloy
  • upper: lightweight PU foam

Customer Reviews
Good
Ever wondered what happens in Frome? Well, evidently some good thought and design. I purchased my Fabric Line 142 Race Saddle after many (uncomfortable) miles on a Cambium 15. By comparison, the Fabric Line 142 is a revelation. For the heavier riders out there, this saddle is superb. The saddle's dimensions allow for plenty of moving around room and the saddle gives plenty of support without being overly firm. The central comfort channel (sounds so much better than 'relief' channel) works really well for longer rides. The Ti rails were vanity on my part but normal CroMoly is cheaper. Some may find the Fabric Line 142 a little dull with very discreet branding. Good for a classy stealth build though.
