Description of Hope Tech 35W - Pro 4 27.5+ Inches Wheelset - FW: 15x110mm | RW: 12x148mm Boost - blue

High-quality, precisely manufactured and wide 27,5 inch+ Boost disc wheelset for enduro, all mountain and trail riding.

Equipped with the Pro 4 hub, the successor of the Pro 2 Evo - the top seller even more optimized.
The Pro 4 hubs got a reworked hub body with bigger flanges to follow the trend to bigger wheels. With higher flanges you will get a stronger and stiffer wheel compared to the Pro 2 Evo.
The rear hub also has an improved ratchet mechanism featuring 44 teeth for 10% faster engagement compared to the Pro 2 Evo.
The rear wheel is available with different types of freehub body.
The reworked Shimano 11-speed freehub body now offers enough space for any Shimano and compatible 11-speed cassette. A Spacer for 9/10-speed is included in delivery.

The wheels are using the Hope Pro 4 disc hub with 6-hole disc mount. Multiple sealed stainless steel bearings ensure smooth running characteristics and long durability. Adapter kits allow the hub to be converted to almost every axle system available. The Boost version of this wheelset is compatible with 15x110mm Boost forks and 12x148mm Boost rear dropouts.
The Hope Tech 35W rim features an optimized rim profile for 27.5 inches plusbike tires. It is based on high-quality 6061 T6 aluminium alloy, a welded seam, single eyelets and an internal width of 35mm to improve tyre contact area and traction. You can see internally there are three sections to provide more stiffness and if you look really closely, you can see that at the bottom the rim is thicker than on the side, to prevent the rim from deforming under tension from the spokes. Tubeless kits (not included in delivery) allow the use of tubeless ready tires.

Hope Hoops wheels are handmade for constant quality and reliability.

Important note: Hope freehub bodies are only compatible to Hope cassettes. For using Shimano or SRAM (XD) cassettes you need to select the corresponding option.
