When a tent is almost like a real house

With Utgard 13.2 you get the closest to living in a real house - but in a tent. It offers space for up to 6 sleeping people and its rectangular shape makes it perfect for glamping. With a door and two large windows at each end of the tent, combined with two small floor-to-ceiling windows on each side of the tent provide ventilation, good visibility and light. All windows and doors are equipped with mosquito nets. The breathable cotton material ensures an excellent sleeping environment that keeps the tent cool even on hot summer days. Utgard can be equipped with additional accessories such as a tailor-made zip-in-floor tent floor and two removable cabins.

The story behind the name

Home of the giants
Utgard (Útgarðar) means "outside world" and was in the old Nordic mythology a stronghold of the giants in Jotunheim (Jötunheimr). Utgard was dominated by Loke (Útgarða-Loki), a big and sneaky giant who fought Thor with a manipulated competition in the outside world. Utgard is the last of the three worlds related to Yggdrasil, which apart from Utgard is made up of Asgard, the home of the gods and Midgard, the home of the people.
