The Pector ME-1 helmet is the right companion for safe uphill and downhill riding with the E-MTB. With its extended protection zone in the temple and back of the head, it also meets the NTA standard for pedelecs and speed pedelecs. With the Boa adjustment system and the Brain Protection System from Mips, the helmet integrates two of the most powerful system components in the helmet sector. Both systems are interactively connected and optimize both safety and fit. The progressive design of the Pector ME-1 also defines the new line in KED mountain bike helmets.

Technologies of the KED Pector ME-1 MIPS Helmet

The Boa® system has been seamlessly integrated into our 360° head ring for maximum comfort. With ingeniously simple one-handed operation, fine adjustments can be made even while riding. The Boa® system guarantees a secure and perfect fit in all situations.

Fidlock® technology makes closing the harness buckle even easier. Thanks to the combination of magnetic force and mechanical latching, the Fidlock® buckle closes virtually automatically and can be operated with just one hand. Unintentional pinching of the skin is impossible. At the same time, the closures are highly reliable, robust and secure.

The EPS inner shell of the KED helmets ensures maximum impact absorption in case of a fall. The MIPS system offers an additional safety feature by reducing the rotational forces acting on the brain. The low-friction shell of the MIPS system allows for 10-15 mm of sliding in all directions at an oblique angle of impact.
