A secure grip is key when running off-road in any weather, whether it's sunny, rainy or fluid surfaces make running difficult. Its Vibram® Megagrip sole offers incredible grip and is particularly effective at displacing mud and snow from the tread. Light rain and splashing water is drained away by the new, particularly resistant mesh via drainage channels and also dries again in no time. In this new version, ventilation has been further optimized and gaiter tabs have been integrated at the heel. On the comfort side, the MTN Racer 2 features the new ZipFoam midsole with multiple firmness levels and an additional cushioning 5mm Ortholite® insole. Nevertheless, it is also and especially on technically demanding trails very stable and sufficiently hard to do without a Rockplate. In short, the MTN Racer 2 is the perfect partner for fast and long trail runs with reactive response on almost all surfaces.
