Odor resistant
The outstanding ability of Merino wool to absorb moisture and transport perspiration away from the body gives bacteria no time to develop an unpleasant odor. Viewed under a microscope, the surface of Merino fibers is uneven, making it difficult for bacteria to settle.
Soft premium fibre
Merino wool is soft. Due to the fine fibres and their elasticity it does not scratch. The natural elasticity keeps the products in shape even during sports. After washing, the clothes are almost wrinkle-free without being ironed, whereas a cotton shirt looks sloppy without being ironed. The natural protection against harmful UV rays makes Merino wool the perfect material for outdoor clothing.
Perfect climate control
The fine Merino fibres enclose air in the fabric due to their crimped structure. In extreme weather, the enclosed air provides excellent insulation against cold. The curly wool fibre transports sweat and water vapour away from the body and into the fabric. From there the moisture can evaporate and provides a cooling effect between skin and fabric. The cooling effect becomes stronger the warmer it is or the more you sweat. These two characteristics of Merino wool serve as the perfect body's own air conditioning system.
Renewable & easy to clean
Within one year the coat of the Merino sheep has completely renewed itself, so that the fibre is 100% renewable as a raw material. Oil is a finite raw material as are the synthetic fibres made from it. Pally'Hi's Merino clothing can be machine washed with regular detergent.
