The Magma Light Down Vest is a lightweight functional vest with many details that can be worn on its own or as insulation. High-quality, 100% recycled down (90/10 RE:Down, 700 cuin, 60 g/m²) ensures good insulating properties and also demonstrates that sustainability played a major role in its development. The same applies to the windproof main material made from recycled polyamide, which has a PFAS-free water-repellent finish. The Magma Light Down Vest packs down perfectly and is easy to store in its compression pocket. If you don't yet have a down vest in your hiking wardrobe, you should get one.
Magma is Bergans' core line of technical and functional down jackets designed to keep you warm and comfortable on your winter adventures. To meet all requirements, the series comes with four different insulation levels - Light, Medium, Warm and Extreme. Performance and sustainability were the top priorities in the development of all of them. All Magma products are made exclusively from recycled materials. This starts with the lining and extends through the down to the outer fabric, which naturally receives its water-repellent properties from a PFAS-free treatment. Put on a Magma and you'll immediately feel what a great cut piece you're wearing that will accompany you on great adventures.
