Isadore's history is deeply rooted in professional cycling, which goes back to the impressive careers of its founders Martin and Peter Velits. Both brothers were successful professional cyclists whose experience and knowledge of high-performance sport made a decisive contribution to the philosophy and direction of the brand. For example, Peter became U23 World Champion, won the Grand Prix of Aargau Canton and came third overall in the Vuelta a España. The twins also rode the Tour de France together several times, with Peter even winning the combativity award on the 17th stage of the 2008 Tour.
