The family of carbon wheels Aero is enriched with this Bora WTO wheelset 45 mm profile for a wide audience. The rim design allows maximum aerodynamic penetration and with a certain angle, the wind even becomes a valuable ally of the athlete. Aerodynamic rims and hubs made of aluminum and ceramic USB cone bearing shell system in the hubs: Every design decision in these wheels serves to optimize performance.

The rim inner width of 19 mm allows the installation of tires with 23 mm, 25 mm and 28 mm. In addition, Campagnolo offers the proven technology with the 2-Way Fit (Tubeless Ready) version, which allows perfect compatibility with clincher and tubeless tires. Furthermore, the Bora WTO 45 wheelset convinces with water transfer graphics, radial lacing on the front wheel and G3™ on the rear wheel. External self-locking nipples, aluminum hubs with differentiated diameter between front and rear wheel, adjustable USB™ ceramic bearings, aluminum freewheel body and quick release with aerodynamic profile are just a few more top features of the Bora WTO 45.

45 mm rim profile but aero

The rim design allows aerodynamic penetration, as the wind, when acting on the rim at an angle between 12° and 19°, gives momentum to the triathlete. The slim design of the hub in the central part reduces the face of the component and the particular design of the flanks favors stall. The elliptical cross-section of the 18 front spokes and the 21 rear spokes significantly reduces rolling resistance.

The wheel with the greatest smoothness

The proven cone bearing shell system USB ensures proper sliding of the ceramic bearings. The 2-Way Fit profile allows not only easy mounting of a clincher tire, but also of tubeless ready tires with the low rolling resistance. The class C19 allows the mounting of 23, 25 and 28 mm wide tires with perfect connection of the rim-tire system.

These brake sidewalls are based on AC3™ technology to provide safe and reliable braking in all weather conditions. Indeed, the All Conditions Carbon Control™ technology, also called AC3™, was developed not only to improve braking performance in general, but also to overcome one of the major drawbacks of carbon rims in competition: braking on wet ground. In addition to the knurling visible on the outside of the braking flank, the new Bora™ wheels have also been optimized on the inside to align the fibers to ensure maximum integrity in the face of the higher loads that can be absorbed by the new braking flanks. For this purpose, an advanced resin perfected by Campagnolo engineers has been used to withstand much higher temperatures compared to competing products and to dissipate the extreme heat generated during braking.

G3™ geometry

Campagnolo® developed a lacing pattern that allows improved energy transfer compared to a conventional wheel, reduces stress on the spokes on the right side at the rear wheel and increases lateral stiffness. This is because with the G3™ geometry, the right side of the rear wheel has twice the number of spokes compared to the left side. The advantages of the G3™ system are amazing: improved transmission of the driving force, increased lateral stiffness, reduction of spoke tension on the rear wheel. Thanks to the G3™ system, which compensates the forces acting on the 2 sides of the wheel, the vibrations are eliminated even for people with heavier weights.

The impeller is assembled entirely by hand by a Campagnolo professional and 100% checked using instruments with electronic control. This process ensures maximum performance and reliability of all Campagnolo brand wheels.
