The World Runner carbon 27 R rim has been specially designed to be a multi-purpose rim and suitable for bike packing adventures and cyclocross races alike. With its ground-breaking design, the World Runner is lighter and more durable then ever before.
By offsetting, DUKE was able to increase the potential lateral wheel strength and its stability without adding weight. Rim drillings are off-center to improve bracing angles for a stronger, more rigid wheel.
A wider profile rim increases the comfort, for the rider, compared to a similar width tire mounted on a narrow "standard" rim because of the increased air volume in the tire.
